1. Description of Service
WP Hockey Predictor provides NHL game prediction tools, analysis articles, and automated picks powered by advanced analytics including Corsi, expected goals, goalie performance metrics, and injury data. Our services include:
- Prediction Tool: A free NHL game prediction calculator that generates win probabilities and over/under projections for any matchup.
- NHL Articles: Daily prediction articles covering individual matchups and full-slate overviews. A selection of each day’s articles are available free of charge; remaining articles for the current game day are exclusive to WP Auto Picks and Ad-Free Monthly pass holders until the following day.
- WP Auto Picks: A premium automated picks service ($4.99 CAD per day or $14.99 CAD per month) that generates algorithm-driven line picks for every NHL game once starting goalies are confirmed. Includes ad-free experience. Day passes are one-time payments; monthly plans are auto-renewing subscriptions that can be cancelled anytime.
- Ad-Free Passes: Optional daily ($2.99 CAD, one-time) and monthly ($9.99 CAD/month, auto-renewing) passes. Day passes are one-time payments; monthly passes auto-renew and can be cancelled anytime.
- Auto-Renewing Subscriptions: Monthly Pass ($9.99 CAD/month) and Picks Monthly ($14.99 CAD/month) are auto-renewing subscriptions processed through Stripe. You will be charged automatically each month until you cancel. You may cancel at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Email Alerts (Optional): WP Auto Picks and WP All-Access subscribers may opt in at checkout to receive email notifications when new picks are generated. This is entirely optional and can be cancelled at any time via the unsubscribe link included in every email.
1A. iOS Mobile Application
The WP Hockey Predictor iOS app provides the same core features as the website, including the prediction calculator, WP Auto Picks, Daily Parlay Play, matchup articles, and pick archive. The following additional terms apply to the iOS app:
- License: The Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the iOS app on any Apple device that you own or control, subject to Apple’s Usage Rules set forth in the App Store Terms of Service.
- In-App Purchases: Subscriptions purchased through the iOS app are processed by Apple. All in-app purchase prices are displayed in your local currency as determined by Apple. Apple’s payment terms, refund policies, and cancellation procedures apply to in-app purchases. The Developer does not collect or store payment information for in-app purchases.
- Push Notifications: The app may send push notifications for new picks, parlay plays, articles, and results. You can enable or disable push notifications at any time through the app settings or your device’s notification settings.
- Account Access: Your account is shared between the website and iOS app. A subscription purchased on either platform grants access on both.
- Third-Party Beneficiary: You acknowledge that Apple, Inc. is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms of Service as they relate to the iOS app, and that Apple has the right to enforce these terms against you.
- Maintenance and Support: The Developer is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the iOS app. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services with respect to the app.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using WP Hockey Predictor, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers of the site.
3. Disclaimer — No Guarantees
Important: WP Hockey Predictor is a probability-based prediction tool intended for informational and entertainment purposes only. Our win probabilities, picks, and projections are generated using statistical models and advanced analytics, but no model can guarantee the outcome of any NHL game. You should not rely solely on this tool to make betting, financial, or other decisions. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
4. User Accounts & Payments
- Purchases are processed securely through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. WP Hockey Predictor never stores your credit card information.
- Ad-free passes and WP Picks access are tied to the email address provided at checkout. A browser session cookie is used to maintain access for the duration of the purchased period.
- All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
- Promotional codes may be offered from time to time at the Developer’s sole discretion. Promo codes cannot be combined, are non-transferable, and may be revoked or modified at any time.
- Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy.
5. Intellectual Property
WP Hockey Predictor is owned by WP North Entertainment Group Ltd. and its respective heirs, executors, successors, and assigns (hereinafter referred to collectively as the “Developer”). All content, code, algorithms, designs, logos, and branding are protected by intellectual property laws.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or sell WP Hockey Predictor or any part of it without the prior written consent of the Developer.
- The Developer grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use WP Hockey Predictor solely for your own personal use.
- This license does not give you the right to sublicense, distribute, or sell WP Hockey Predictor or any part of it.
6. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the site without prior written permission.
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit any predictions, picks, articles, or other content from WP Hockey Predictor.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer the prediction algorithms or underlying models.
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the site or its servers.
7. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
In no event shall the Developer be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of WP Hockey Predictor, whether or not the Developer has been advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes, without limitation, any losses incurred from decisions made based on predictions, picks, or other content provided by the service.
8. Third-Party Services
WP Hockey Predictor integrates with third-party services including:
- Stripe for website payment processing
- Apple In-App Purchase for iOS app payment processing
- Google Sign-In for user authentication (website and iOS app)
- Apple Push Notification service (APNs) for iOS push notifications
- Google Analytics and Google Ads for website analytics and advertising
- Google AdSense for display advertisements (non ad-free users, website only)
- Gmail SMTP for sending pick notification emails (opted-in users only)
Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
